I picked up this satchel for my Ipad... it fits perfectly with a bit more space for a maybe the charger... looks kinda fancy, costs more than the Ipad itself, but it looks good... the Ipad won't fit in vertically because it's too long wont zip up, but horizontally it fits perfectly... I needed something for when I want to take just my ipad to meetings or out to a cafe.. I didn't want to use my brief case, which is too heavy, and I only carry that around when I'm wearing a suit.. this is a bit more dress casual, which is what I needed...
    Let the flaming begin!!!

I have been looking at the Gucci Medium Leather Messenger Bag in brown but it doesn't come out until next month.

In the mean time, I got this bag in black.

Since we're talking about ladies bags, I got a bag similar to his one:

Mine is a nicer design and in black but I really appreciate the zippered pocket/divider in the middle, the additional interior pockets and the buttery soft leather.

And when i don't have my iPad, its still a nice handbag!!

I'm a guy and my wife is mixed on me getting bags for my iPad because it cuts into her getting some instead. :)

BTW, the two I posted above are from the Men's line. The third one that I have on order is the Muzzetto 10" from sfbags.com.

I have the Muzetto case for daily use and when at conferences, but it's not quite big enough to carry my Bose headsets, my ipad, keyboard, overdrive, iphone, etc. It's really close though!!

You should get the Tumi messenger. My husband has one and it wasn't that expensive. I can't find the exact model but this one is close:

Also - a woman should always have a standing handbag budget. Handbags and shoes - it's what we live for. I'm the anomaly that would include gadgets/electronics to that list.

Interesting insight on the Muzetto. Maybe I should have got the 13" version.

Thanks for the link on the Tumi, but I am more of a leather guy. I just recently got this for my work laptop and love it. Carries my laptop and some papers perfectly.

Oh, my wife has her budget, it is just sometimes she sees that one extra bag a year that she loves/wants and now, that I am getting bags, she feels that she is limited. I told her that she should consider this to be part my of HT/camera/tech toy budget. :D

Ha! I am the OG poster and I'm a dude. Didn't think this would become a thread about womens handbags.

I gotta say i really like the satchel I got. It fits my iPad perfectly with enough room for my iPhone. Rode my motorbike to my local cafe and now I'm surfing. Don't have to hassle with a big bag or laptop bag. I think it's great!

Glad you like it and it worked out on the bike. I prefer the black canvas or a leather Gucci bag, but that is a really nice looking one, too.

BTW, The woven one I posted above is supposed to come tomorrow. The only downside is that the black color was a system error they was really grey. They are sending me both a grey and a wine color bag and I can choose which one I want. They also make a dark brown version, but did not have it in store to send me. Worst case I take them back and get a full refund. Since it was their error, they will refund me versus a store credit.

As soon as this bag arrives I will put up a review, I would however recommend a trip to their website I think the leather quality also looks beautiful on all the bags they do and they kinda appeal to my inner cowboy. :)
