i'm going to tokyo in two weeks. i'm looking for a guidebook... i usually like lonely planet, but any rec's would be appreciated... i'm not going outside of tokyo, so i don't need a guide book for "japan."

    but there is a catch:

i'm japanese, i speak the language and have a place to stay (with my grandparents) so i don't really care about the part of guide book explaining the customs, language and accomodation.

i'll be going into town alone, but probably just day trips.

I have an Area Guide brand book for Kyoto and it was very helpful. It's only Japanese language.

If you're in the U.S.A., you can order it from Kinokuniya books in NYC near Rockefeller Center or online.
