Man GB is cool. I just got a cord for my guitar to computer for $3 at radio shack and it rocks.

I was wondering though: Is there any way to change my guitar licks to, say, a harp or horn? I'm thinking "no," but I was wondering if someone else knew of a way?

If you have Logic 6 or if you know someone who has it, you can import AU instruments from logic into GB. There are a lot of wacky plugins for logic which are in AU format. You should try this. I don`t have any AU`s for guitar in logic yet. But they are out there. Just surf around the VST/AU websites and try to get some demo`s and import them to GB.

Yep! It's really easy if I'm correct about this - I haven't actually tried it, however. Once you record your guitar, go to the track properties and choose a new instrument. That's it!

I'm assuming this works because you can change the instrument of loops in GB, so I'm assuming you can do it to what is, in a sense, your own loop.

    Where am I???
You can do this in GB with MIDI tracks, but not with audio. Audio is audio. Once its recorded, you're stuck with it, except for effects processing.

MIDI, however, is just instructions on which notes to play. Thus, you can have those notes play from a piano, guitar, trombone, etc.'

Thus, the short answer to the original question is, no, it cant be done with GB.

If you want to use your guitar for midi input (ie playing software instruments), you'll need to install a midi pickup.

    Here are a few.
