brilliant... :p each Gum Blonde is 100% chewed bubblegum on a plywood backing. No paint or dye is used, the colour is inherent to the gum.

Thats wild man. Very clever and unique. Being an artist (painter) myself I am always fascinated by original conceptual artwork. I would like to see a demo of the artist working/ modeling / sculpting that gum to create shades/tints/tones together to formulate a given form. Trident huh. wild!

    wow....

But it doesn't go on to say how many pieces of gum were chewed for each piece of art :D

And the fact that he has a dedicated team of chewers....that's almost gross.

i used to chew a whole pack of bubble gum and make a bubble so big it would pop and cover my head... maybe i should go into performance art?

I'd like to see more of a written conceptual analyzation, verbalization of that work. It would be interesting to hear how the mixture of spit and gum parrallel a given sociological construct or ideology relating to the figurative/representational blond forms the guy chooses to convey. Process and tecnique supplement the message I hope.

    Definitly fits in Post modernism.

Those weren't meant to resemble celebrities, were they? ;)

Brittney was very accurately recreated. Very cool.
