"Hi, you don't know me, may I have a local account on your Mac?"

    "No."

    "Ah...."

This important safety dialogue brought to you by the number 4 and the letter P.

I think this story was more significant, but does not seem to have the same media backing.

Thanks chundles for the Sesame street flash-back

thats true on the media issue .. but some ppl don't double-check the facts on a story before running wild with it ..

Since apple is starting using x86 'ware, They (Apple) needs to focus on the Usability/safety/clean interface OS to win more 'Switchers' to the "light"

And to the OP: the only way to get an mac 'hacked' is giving out your admin handle/password.. To be even more secure you should try using a standard acct than Admin acct.. Still got all the programs that are in 'Home' folder..

The only pain is installing programs .. you'll need enter admin handle aka name/password ..
