1: Can I play Halo over the network with my PC friends?

2: Is there a coop mode in Halo? If so, how many people can play together?

As Bobdude161 has said, Halo for Mac will allow you to play online with both fellow Mac users and those unfortunate enough to be stuck on a PC. The bad news is that thee is no cooperative mode.

I've looked and been unable to find the halo for the mac for less than $150. does anyone know where I can get it cheaply? or where I can just download it? Or... if there is anything I can do to my mac to let it run the pc version of halo?

That's because Halo for Mac was discontinued a while back. Sure, you could download it (illegally). And as you were told in another thread, you could run a PC copy via Cider.
