I am having trouble using handbrake to rip dvd's to my computer. I want to be able to copy some on to dvds, and others have ripped on my computer. What settings do i need to set it to, and how do i burn it once its on my computer.

Be more specific. Do you want to get a video, to playback on your Mac only? Or do you want to immediately rip again to DVD? If so, Handbrake isn't the app for you.

What should i use to rip it back to dvd. I want to be able to stick a a ripped dvd into a regular dvd player hooked to a tv and watch it. What should i use instead of handbrake?

Errrr.... iDVD or Toast.
