Same problem it runs to fast, is there an emulator or a tool to slow down your processor maybe to 601 speeds?

Oh lord, I remember that game from way back in the day...

Yeah, it runs impossibly fast on my G4, but I sent it over to my old-school OS 7.5.5 Mac IIci and it runs great. Aw, sh*t! ;)

Maybe you should try it on your 7500?

I remember this game from way back in the day, and it was incredibly fast then, too. If I recall, you had to hit the button for the settings (whatever that happened to be) before you ran into the CP. With the game moving as fast as it is, it's VERY tough, but possible. It just seems that the initial speed setting was set too high, as after lowering it, it worked fine.

I haven't played it in a few years though, so what do I know? :)

(I am glad, however, that someone else knows about this game!!)

I'll bet youp need to play it on a 68k Mac for it to run at normal speeds. Maybe an early Powermac would be slow enough, but it probably won't run right on anything with a PPC 603 or newer CPU.

Here's a thought: run Virtual PC, then run a Mac emulator inside that to slow the computer down a bit. ;) :D

I ran Oregon Trail on my G4 and it was absolutely hilarious. The wagon would cross the screen in a blink, hunting was impossible, and the days went by so fast the only time it would pause and wait for a response was when someone had a fever, cholera or you needed to ford a river.
