Hey thanks guys! I really appreciate it. :)

Unfortunately for me, after that really long night with the very welcome new machine at the end of it, I had to go to work. And as though frosting on the birthday cake of life, I am having a Really Busy Day™ instead of the free-as-a-bird day I expected, all thanks to the shifted deadlines from the holiday weekend. No bother - it's still a great day.

    thanks again.

fortunately/unfortunately no - I just bought a new rev B dual 1.8 a month or two ago, and am absolutely in love with it. And for those of you who know I have my wishlist online, I'm happy to report that I've been given a Griffen PowerMate and an iTunes gift certificate from my mother-in-law, another iTunes gift certificate from my sister-in-law, a Steak Dinner from my wife (prime beef ribeyes - we're having it tonight - been marinating almost 24 hours now :D) and my perennial favorite present from my parents: a cord of firewood for the winter.

I'm having a great day. If only I could take a nap... at....... workzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.... :D

oh - and a little side bonus on my b'day - my son lost his first tooth today. How cool is that? :D

It sounds like you really had an awesome day. All the gifts are great. Not form experience, but I just imagine that the best gift of the day was your son loosing his first tooth. What will the tooth fairy bring? We seem to really be increasing the number of G5's on the forum.

Happy Birthday from one Virgo to another!
I turned 29 for the 5th time on the 27th.

Last year I had a terrible birthday. I SWORE that this year (and forever more) I would take it off and enjoy myself. This year I forgot until it was too late. And I had a crappy work/birth day. Serves me right.

Do yourself a favor. Take your birthday off in the future. It's the one day you can do whatever the hell you want (withing "Reason") and get away with it!
