Happy iCal day!

    Happy iCal day! The one day a year you can completely close iCal and the date will still be right on the dock! (unless there's some hack I dont know about)

    anyone know why they picked july 17?
    I've always wondered that.

    I read the answer to that a long time ago. Something to do with the date it was made, or something. Some apple date (well no ****).

    I hate ical for this very reason. Whenever I look at it I always think it's July 17th even in december!

    I knew I read that somewhere.. just couldn't remember.

    iCal-- the "broken clock" of OS X. :p

    THAT IS STRANGE! Why would you think that? the 15th.....I will talk to the therapist see if we can arrange something for you.......jk:D

    Yeah, too bad the icon doesn't change to the current date.

    You'd think that if it was on your dock, you'd leave it open all the time, thus displaying the correct date.

    It makes perfect sense to me :rolleyes:

    Bah! I spent the whole day writing the date and trying to remember why it was familiar and whose birthday I'd forgotten. Thank you so much for telling me it's just some computer app's special day! Where's that relieved smiley?
