It's 2005 in some parts of the world now, so happy new year! :D

OK, I'm off to bed now, having spent a good part of the night travelling from Westfall to Darnassus and back. WoW players will know what I'm talking about ;)

It's 2 hours to midnight here in Japan. Watching the Red & White show and K1.

Happy New Year (to anyone where it's 2005.) :D

    Sucky New Year

New Years Eve: woke up with a bad cold.
No way am I going out tonight...

May have to spend the New Year on these boards (with a hefty slug of JD).
As much as I love this forum, there's something a bit sad about that...

I pray that you will feel much better soon Blue Velvet. It's never any fun to be sick. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids and get plenty of rest.

Happy New Year 2005 to all the members of MacRumors. All those in that family that make this forum so awesome. :)

Happy New Year! 3 hours and 45 minutes to go here on the east coast of the USA

I am going to stay up watch the clock on my computer change to "Saturday, January 1, 2005"! Then I will spend 10 minutes or soaking in the fact that it is 2005. Then I will go to bed. :)

Los Angeles takes its time getting to each new year. For some technical reason I can't possible understand, our midnight is later than almost everyone else's (not many Hawaiians here, for example). So let me know how you like 2005 and I'll decide whether to join you.

Happy New Years to you all! Can't wait to begin my first new years eve in New York City. I'm going out in a few minutes, maybe I'll see some of you out and not even know it. After all, it is a small world...

And I hope everyone's 2005 goes as well as I plan for mine to.

Just got back from a party overlooking central London, I thought they'd blown the Eye up for a moment there, very nice.

I'm watching Beetlejuice and winding down, sure 2005 looks good from here.

    Happy new year everyone.

Yes, absolutely. I hope you enjoy a speedy recovery. Although it does sound like she's got the "drink plenty of fluids" part covered :) . Best wishes to all for a very happy and healthy New Year! (2 hours 40 minutes to go on the East coast)

    Regards,
    Marc

Thanks! Can we take this to mean that you're feeling better? I hope that's the case. I've never been to London; I'd love to check it out sometime. In any event, Happy New Year! :D

    Cheers,
    Marc

I know the feeling. I'm also sick (just getting over a cold, ugh), and away from home. I was going to go out, but meh... Pretty much the only alcohol I'm going to be drinking is Nyquil. :p Even if you can't be out with real friends, at least you can be in with cyber-friends.

Happy New Year all. Here's hoping 2005 is better than 2004!

Who will be the first among us to write 2004 instead of 2005 as the date on a letter, a school paper, a check, etc.?

I'll take it one day at a time and see if I can avoid such blunders.

Happy New Year to everyone at MacRumors!
