Hard drive activity light

I tried search and did not find anything...

So, is there an application we can run that would show hard drive activity? Thanks...

There's Activity Monitor in Applications/Utilities, or iStat pro.

Thank you, I guess those will have to do. I was hoping for something like a PC disk drive activity light in the menu bar.

iStat Menus or MenuMeters work very well. They reside in the menu bar.
