I am looking to upgrade my hard drive in my late 2013 27 inch 14.2 iMac. I am finding conflicting answers to this question though.
I need to know if I need an in line thermal sensor for the new drive. The company that sells them is telling me that I do. But another company that sells ssd's is telling me that late 2012 models are the last to have that problem. I also heard second hand that an apple authorized repair tech said the same thing.
So I was hoping some of the experts on here could put this to rest for me.
