Hey!
I have seen some software called 'TECHTOOL PRO' for mac in the recent macworld magazine. The software can check all hardware, and check that everything is working as it should. Is there any free similar software out there that checks hardware in your mac?

Well, each Mac should come with a Hardware Test. It's either included on the install discs or it used to come on a separate CD. There's also Disk Utility on either the install disc or, if that can't be found, via fsck. :)

These aren't as full-featured as TechTool Pro, but they do some useful checks and repairs (Hardware Test only checks, it doesn't repair).
