Hardware Protection Mechanisms in iBook and PB

    does the iBook and PB have any good hardware protection mechanisms? by that i mean if i was to drop it, will it affect the system in any way? what is in place to prevent that

    yeh and you asked the same question in your linux is better than mac thread which you also insulted your dad.

    Yes, but atif.muhammad isn't allowed to post directly into the wasteland.

    Of course we shouldn't really worry, the threads he starts will usually be moved to the proper wasteland subcategory sooner or later.

    The iBook is more rugged than the powerbook.

    one little hint atif, search around the forum for answers !
    You have posted several threads the last couple of days, many of your qustions can already be found several places in the forum, ESPECIALLY ibook vs powerbook threads...

    The ibook is tough but it doesnt have something like the IBM laptops have, that senses fall and stops HD activity.

    When you drop a Powerbook, the aluminium shell offers protection by forming a large dent on impact, thus absorbing a great deal of force.

    Deformation Shock Absorption.....only from Apple.
