Heart Rate apps that use iTouch ID?

    Apple are not allowing access to Touch ID to developers.

    there are heart rate apps that use the camera and they work well. I've tested vs my heart rate monitor
    azumio makes one

    Yes. This is to ensure your fingerprint data is always locked down on the phone and isn't stolen by shady apps.

    Missed opportunity if you ask me.

    Touch ID is a seriously pointless feature. lol

    plus, even if they did allow third party apps access to TouchID, its too early for anyone to develop something that complex, the iPhone 5S just came out less than a week ago...and its just a fingerprint scanner, I don't think it has the ability to detect heart rate data.
