Anyone usind the Temperature Monitor freeware? Could you please post your readings for your powerbook? I am interested in using the plug in power cord and the energy settings set at highest performance. What is your powerbook specs and what was open or working at the time of the temp readings?

Thanks

Well, for tonight I've got Batt 105.8, Processor Bottomside 128.8, Processor / Controller Bottomside 130.6, Power Supply Bottomside 134.6.

The reason I asked is my PB felt pretty hot today and I was getting the highest readings at around 141 to 142 F.

I just wanted to check in on what others are seeing so I can tell if the heat is way out of line or just normal for this compact computer. Also, the case is the heat sink, so it must get hot.

All the above are with processor highest performance with 2 or 3 things going on at once.

PB 15" 1.5 Ghz 128vid 5400rpm 1.5 gig ram.
