Help: Digitize audio casette tape on MBA

I want to get some old tape material in to my iTunes. I've a tape recorder and MBA with OSX Mountain Lion. I think I can use GarageBand to convert. However, since MBA does not have audio in, what are my options? Any other better way to convert cassette to mp2/acc etc.?
