iPod HELP! How can I get the new Video fimrware

Hi all. I have a 30g video ipod. And I use windows on iTunes.

But when or how can I get cover flow on my video? I know the fimrware has been released for some regions no? I want to know when I can get it. I'm in the uk you see. And I have itunes 7.4.1...

Apple does not usually upgrade previous iPod versions with current iPod capabilities.

Nope, as swiftaw pointed out, Apple won't be releasing the new UI for previous version iPods.

If you want the new UI, you have to buy the new iPod.

Really? That sucks. So the old video ipods cannot get cover flow? Oh well..

The new features are intended to drive sales for the new products, plus it requires new/additional components internally to facilitate those new features.
