help mouse has mind of its own

    this thing keeps clicking and paging back on any applciation i am using. iMac intel 17 inch montior. is what i have

    Weird, have you tried another mouse and get the same symptoms? My mouse jumps around a bit on certain surfaces, but doesn't explain the clicking and paging back you're getting.

    my suggestion, although not really practical, bang the mouse on your lap and see if you can unjam your keyboard keys by clicking very quick but hard on the control, apple, and option buttons, respectively. try that on f9-f12 (expose buttong generally). course, you can always check in your "Preferences" "Mouse" to see if something went wrong.

    yeah it will just start spazzing out and going back i just unplug it from the keyboard and then it works ok.. but then starts to act up again. it makes a clicking noise and i am not even pressing the button..
