I am supposed to make up a cd for the exit song for graduation. They want me to get clips from certain songs and make one song from them.

Does anyone know of any freeware or cheap software that can rip song segments, arrange them, and make a WAV file from them to burn to a CD?

Thanks for any help you can offer :)

Tried Garageband. Cant get songs to import. Not sure if it is even possible to import MP3s.

Will try the other suggestion now. Thanks.

    Keep the ideas coming! :)

Also soundstudio, which is on your computer if you have an iBook or iMac. With that and possibly with audacity, you may have to rip separately (i.e. in itunes).

Hmm... They just drag and drop for me. Well, as mkrishnan said, try Sound Studio.

you could probably do it with quicktime pro... i know you can do it with movies. but, i'm not sure about audio... and its 30 bucks

not sure if thats too much to pay for you for one song... but i bought it for one movie and have gotten my use out of it...
