Hey guys, here's my situation. I have our PC, which is usually always connected to the internet. (The fam's anti-mac, so I have to cope.) I managed to share our dial-up internet connection across a wireless connection, but I'm having a bit of proxy problems. We use AOL as our ISP on the PC, so sharing the connection directly is impossible. (AOL's greedy and evil.) I downloaded AnalogX's Proxy program, which forwards (right word?) ports for HTTP, Secure HTTP, FTP, and SOCKS. iChat, web browsing, and even normal downloads work just fine. I AM, however, having problems using Mail and Acquisition. Is it possible to change Mail proxy settings? And I know Acquisition has a preference pane to change this type of thing, but what should I use? (HTTP? SOCKS?) Any help would be appreciated. (Mainly regarding Acquisition.) Thanks a bunch guys! :D
