Does the machine have an IP?

    Did you release/renew?

How is it connected physically? Through a router or directly to a modem?

Go to run and type cmd

At the command prompt, type ipconfig /release

Then, after the machine releases, ipconfig /renew

No promises, but a good first step.

If it's connected through a wireless router, then try unplugging the power from the router and modem for a minute and then plugging them back in. And after you do that, restart the PC and see if it works.

and FYI........please lose the IM shortword junkspeak.....

there is no reason to abbreviate/slash up your words here, no limit on text space or number of characters either.

makes it much easier to diagnose and reply to problems when we can fully understand what is being posted.
