This iPhone clone is smaller (57x105x11.5-mm) and works on 3G network. It has a 3.3-inch 720x480 pixel display.

    • 57 x 105 x 11.5mm
    • 3.3-inch VGA+ screen (720 x 480)
    • WinCE 6.0
    • 3 megapixel camera
    • GSM & Chinese TD (3G) cell phone
    • Standard USB port and dock connector
    • TV out, Line in/out

This is definitively what Apple MUST make as iPhone II. Come on Steve! :)

Wow better than the orig. iphone! Oh wait, there is no original iphone yet (things could change before apple releases). But it looks great if I had a windows machine it'd match! looks like the new guy likes windows lots. :)

So, this is no Photoshop version but an actual product? I'm amazed how quick one can rebuild a product.

Wow, there are some good improvements on this comp.

I would want the case to be black though.

As far as the background images, I love that. I still think that the home screen needs to be just your background image, a bottom bar with your "favorite" apps, and then the bar across the top with time and all that.. It also should have a function like the palm and blackberry to do the whole "today screen" thing. but this should be able to be turned on and off. the home button could be used both for going back home and for bringing up the apps selections by having the button set to if it is hit once, it goes to home, but if it is held down, the apps come up.

I think it was apple who said that software should be designed to "get out of the way" of the user and just let the user work, I feel like the current home screen of the iPhone doesn't do this to well, the current homescreen looks bland and cluttered.

I guess its just because I'm a graphic/web designer that the look of the software and how you interact with it are something that I will be real picky about. I personally think that they should have incorporated a virtual scroll wheel into the interface for moving through the iPod section, considering that was one of the parts of the iPod that set it apart.

also, i STILL hate the name iPhone, I personall think it should atleast be called something like iMobile.

Anyone know how to get intouch with steve jobs? He could just change the name is end the dumb lawsuits that apple has gotten itself into

So let me get this straight, they put the camera on the front? If Apple is ever going to offer iChat AV on their phone, that's the first step they'll need to take, so copycat or not, I like the direction they're moving in. Plus, the little black dot on the top looks a lot like an IR port, which I would really, really like. I can't see why Apple wouldn't use the iPhone as a remote for the Apple TV or for Keynote presentations (with slide notes and next slide preview). The windows look is actually a bit sad looking to me, but what can I say.

The removable battery seam is actually not that distracting to the design, but I would certainly want a black model or a steel one like the :apple: iPhone.

This is such crap, Apple has released their design and already it looks like the copying has begun. I'm not worried though, it took Apple years to perfect theirs and it'll be seriously difficult for someone to copy it as well as their product (will be) made.

I'm sure this is the first of many copy designs, it'll be interesting to see what other copy's come out next. Straight from China!

Talk about an Apple-wannabe. That's basically the iPhone, put in Apple's usual white and running Vista.

Check out their MP3 player: Anyone recognize the background?

This (original post) looks great, that is until the the faceplate and the rear come unglued in about 5 days, and the reality sets in that you are using some thing (I wont even call it a machine) that has seemingly replicated Apple's iPhone in just under a month and managed to do so based on an entirely different operating system. All you have is a company that has posted some pictures, not a working model. Think about it, it took Apple 2 + years to do this, do you think this company just saw a picture at MWSF 2007 and said by g-d I have it, now I understand how to build the whole thing!

The Chinese don't respect international copyright and patent law. Chinese stuff is usually junk, it may look the part but it falls apart-could be why ipods haven't got that great a reputation for reliability, yes they too are made in china. Sorry Iv'e had so many returns to stores to replace brand new chinese made products lately that its beyond a joke.Trouble is you can't buy anythng else now, even brands like Nikon are made there and break down now, quality of previously good products in general has gone down the tubes in a big way.. I want a company to start which has as its selling point 100% not made in China...I'l pay a bit more for something which works.

Buy cheap buy twice, its probably more true today than it's ever been.
At least this and the other reverse engineer companies will keep apple on their toes. They have been too complacent, living off their reputation-well I suppose someone has to do the R&D for these &*%%$$ companies (sorry its a big soap box of mine!). the iphone could be out of date by the time it arrives, there will be at leat 10 crappy clones -apples only hope is that the multitouch wows as much as it looks but it seems they have could have played their hand too early this time.

Everybody in the thread who has not already said this ten times out loud should do so now.

I mean, FFS...is there even an existing vendor for a 720x480 3.3" color touchscreen? That's ... what... in the 250 dpi range? There's no existing product with a screen like that. The new LCD won't magically appear overnight. That spec is also the single biggest *bs warning* that could be attached to this product.
