The GOP could use a war about now.

A new one, though. They broke the one they had.

That's it Dubya, spread them out real thin. Then all it will take is a small elite fighting force to invade the US.

Just hope those damned Wolverines don't turn up.

Just as well North Korea's not playing up at the moment. You'd have to sub-contract that one to Halliburton and Blackwater.

I have a feeling they'd let Pantex handle that one.

Remind me again how Iraq has made us safer? Really, I want to know. Because I'm just not seeing it. If any other real threats come along (like this, or Iran, or NK, or Afghanistan, or Pakistan...), we wouldn't really be able to do anything about it. Not that anyone would trust this administration to handle it, based on their current efforts.

Remember when we were all supporting the war in Afghanistan and we were actually winning? Remember that Bin Laden guy? I wonder what he's been up to lately.

I put this down as just another thing that may very well not have happened except for Bush's screwing around in the Middle East.

    You're both wrong!

How could you forget about the Bush Administration's most reliable subsidery: the Blair government. The Royal Navy, RAF and British Army won't have anything better to do soon, what with the "mission" being "accomplished" in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Though perhaps a well-traveled point, I consistently find it humorous that some countries are not held to the same scrutiny when it comes to messing with another countries internal affairs and/or are free to ignore UN mandates (or the UN in general) w/o repercussion(s).

The good/evil dichotomy makes geopolitics so much more drama-laden...

(BTW, I've missed you lot...I hope it has been amicable here in my absence.
I am so busy, but will try to pop in for mid-term election commentary.)
