Hello. I've had a SonyEricsson W600i mobile phone the past two years. I enjoy my phone but keep holding out to buy the V2.0 iPhone.

My question is does the current iPhone give you the ability to hide your caller ID/phone number? My SE W600i is able to do this via in the 'settings' menu-I can show or hide my number at will by making the proper selection.

Since I usually call family and friends I usually keep my caller ID/phone number to 'display'. Recently, I had to turn it off caller ID/phone number as I had to call several of my patient's from the mobile phone (as opposed to calling them from the clinic). I work in the field of Mental Health; so I didn't want my patient's to have access to my telephone number.

Does the current iPhone have this ability?

Cheers!

You can hide your phone number. The guy above does not know what he's talking about. There is no need to dial *67

Settings --> Phone --> Show My caller Id --> On/Off

I used it and it shows up as blocked call
