I have a large portion of my SSD being taken up by 'other'. It appears to be mostly iLife Asset Management stuff. I do not use iPhoto, iMovie, or Garageband.

What is the proper way to remove this storage? Can I just delete the apps?

    Thank you.

You won't gain a lot by deleting the apps. However, deleting the Garageband loops will save quite a bit.

    Thanks for the reply.

Here is a screenshot of what is taking up what I consider to be a large amount of space on my SSD.

Will this folder delete itself if I uninstall the iLife apps?
If not, is there any harm in just deleting this folder?

    Thanks.

That folder appears to be related to Photo Stream: iLifeAssetManagement folder ever increasing

Okay. I'm just going to delete it.
I don't use any of the iLife stuff anyway.

    Thank you for the help.
