I'm going out of my mind on bed-rest.

I watched 4 DVD's on the iBook yesterday (including a 3-hour-long concert DVD), slept and watched TV.

Ideas to keep me busy? Like some mindless Internet games?

Go to sudokufun and figure out Su Doku puzzles. They're great timewasters but with the vague feeling that you're using your brain so it's not a total waste...

    i know the feeling gary,

exams are pretty much done and i'm getting so bored. i find i have to go away to escape the boredom (just got back from canada on the weekend) and now i'm trying to find somewhere else to go..

i find dvds are great..what i like to do is make some junk food, sit own with a big bottle of coke/pepsi and watch whole seasons of shows (i.e. dvd box sets) - it's great

and if you havent seen it yet, perhaps try buying arrested development. it's wildly funny.. :D

I didn't know I was going to be on my butt, otherwise I would have hurried to get my Netflix DVD's back - I have Queer as Folk on my queue. That could have eaten up hours.

I'm going back to work tomorrow. This is driving me insane.

you sound like you need a puppy. :D

that's the answers to all life's problems, well that is unless the puppy itself is the problem.

I just finished the Steve Jobs biography "iCon."

I write and read for a living, so unfortunately that makes reading for pleasure a bit difficult.

    Stubborn patient, aren't I?

    damned right!

the only thing i can suggest is watching tv..even that gets boring too though. whatever you do, dont go to sleep! i find that when i do that, i end up waking at like 5pm, and normally very moody and confused. maybe start tagging all of your pictures or something ;)

I echo the World of Warcraft suggestion. Great game. You might not ever get your life back though ;).

I hope that you will follow your physicians orders. Getting up too soon could cause more damage. Bed rest isn't easy, but can be a very important therapy. You should try a project in Photoshop or as mentioned and online game. ;)
