Gosh, I need to use my iPod more...

Apple certainly had the right idea when they launched the iPod - and it looks to continue to be successful. My music collection has outgrown an iPod mini now - I'm glad I got the 40GB model.

Great report, saw it in print in the Economist a month ago.

One amusing tidbit from this report is that Dell have so little share in this market that they are lumped into the "other" category. The reaction the DJ receives at MacRumors is seriously out of proportion to its real significance.

The other thing I would have to say about the Economist is it provides some of the most balanced and informative reading that you will find in any publication. It also has a valuable reading audience of professional executives who are and highly educated intelligent people with high levels of disposable income in the 30 yr old to 50+ age bracket (male and female). In other words and ideal audience for the iPod.

I'm not in that age bracket, yet I find the Economist articles just as relevant. Any ideas?
