I've never had any issue with my macs, but I currently have an issue.
I have a 1st Gen nano that is keeping a battery life of about 2 hours max, it's 10 months old and I'm positive this shouldn't be happening
I've tried calibrating, fully charging and using till it goes dead, I've even had it on charge through the mains for 8 hours and it's still not giving me more than 2 hours tops.

I'm in the UK and I'm unsure as what to do to get this sorted, do I go direct to apple? (I bought it from my catalog company who say it's out of their 30 day warranty)

can I just nip into a local store? will they replace the battery or the nano?

yep, any Authorised Apple Repairs shop should do it for you :)

Just remember to bring in a receipt if you have one.
