what kind of files are you trying to convert?

if you can import them into itunes, goto preferences and importing set your mp3 quality options, and you can then right click on em and go convert to mp3 or ACC whatever. :) hope it helps

the overwhelming question here though is if you're trying to convert WMA files into iTunes for playback. If you're on a Mac, no dice. Sorry. If you're on a PC, iTunes for Windows came with a WMA converter to get audio files into iTunes, but it requires that you're also using at least version 9 of Windows Media Player.

One thing to remember - you can't get blood from a turnip. If you file is compressed to 128 kbps in any format, you're not going to get a 256 kbps file from it in another format.

You best bet is to use a program like NMP3 Ripper and re-rip them from the cds. You'll get the best quality that way.
