How do the 2011 MBA's handle Flash?

    Hey Everyone,

Definitely hoping to get a 2011 11" MBA in the next few weeks (still debating the whole i5 v i7 thing and the 128GB HD vs 256 HD thing...), but I was just curious how the CPU usage and heat output using Flash is on the new MBA? Believe me, my intent is to install Click-To-Flash and avoid using Flash as much as possible, and use HTML5 video playback as much as possible, but sometimes I watch class lectures online for school that are only in the Flash format, so it can't always be avoided.

As I sit right now, I'm watching a 2.5" x 2.5" the-farthest-thing-from-HD-so-grainy-it-hurts Flash course lecture on my early-2007 2.16 GHZ White Macbook and, as usual, my fans are blazing and making about as much noise as a jet engine and could probably fry an egg. Activity Monitor tells me the Flash vid is eating between 35-40% of my CPU.

Just curious of your Flash experiences on the 2011 MBA. I'm sure Flash is still a CPU hog, but will it at least be more quiet / less hot? :D

I had a 11" i7/256 and a flash website had my CPU temps @ 95-98 degrees Celsius and fans over 5000rpm. It was like a tiny jet engine.

Mine manages YouTube and Zero Punctuation fine, i.e., not too hot, no noticeable fan noise. That's about all I ever use Flash for, though.

oh, Boo! :( I wonder if the i5 runs any cooler/quieter? When my fans ramp up on my MacBook now they're over 6000 RPM according to iStat... no bueno!
