    How do I do this? Everytime I try to do it, the first quote gets voided out by the second quote. I know it can be done however, because I see MR folks who are smarter than me doing it. :eek:

    Just follow our guide. There are a few different ways of doing it but I usually open the replies in multiple tabs and then copy/paste them back to one reply box. Just make sure you check your tags to ensure they're opened and closed properly. :)

    Are you using Safari? I just go through the thread and hold COMMAND down as I click Quote to all the posts I want to quote. I then copy the contents of each of the reply boxes in each tab and paste them all into one reply box. Under each quotation, I write my comment.

    Which part are you stuck at? :)

    Here, use this code:

    [QUOTE=Person 1]
    I am person 1
    [/QUOTE]

    Hi person 1

    [QUOTE=Person 2]
    I am not person 1
    [/QUOTE]

    I'm glad about that

    To give:

    Hi person 1

    I'm glad about that

    You can also beg the MR gods to upgrade to vBulletin 3.6 because it allows you to quote multiple posts.

    Yepp... that's what I do, too, most of the time...

    Other times I just copy the text in the post(s) I want to quote and paste it into my answer in a quote tag, [IMG], then just add the name of the "quotee(s)" manually or cutting and pasting.

    Yes

    Huh? :confused:

    All of them. :eek:

    The main reason I started this thread is for the sake of the moderators. They always have to go back and combine my posts because I've been making a separate post for each quote. :eek: Maybe I'm just too stupid for this. :(

    Just to elaborate, holding COMMAND in Safari as I click on a link (including the Quote button) opens the link (reply box) in a new tab. :)

    I used your method MJ, but for some strange reason, the reply box opens up with small print when I click Quote with the command key held down as opposed to clicking Quote by itself. :confused:

    How bizarre. :confused:

    Are you maybe holding the MINUS key down at the same time?

    Ok I just found out that if I click Quote with the command key held down very quickly, then the print will stay the same size. :)

    Nested goodness is also possible.

    Hope I don't break the forum. Mods, feel free to edit if this blows your stack:
