Apple sent Tiger to me yesterday and it arrived today just like they promised. But nobody's home, and nobody's gonna be home until Tuesday night!!! Doesn't make a difference for me, since I won't be home until May 8, but I'm worried because I don't want FedEx to give up and send it back!

So how long does FedEx hold a package?

I think it only like 3 days after their final attempt. Call them and make special arrangements.

I thought they will send it back immediately after their third delivery attempt.

So after Tuesday's attempt, back it goes.

Yes definitely call them. FedEx is cool about making alternate arangements. They can always hold it at your local office and you can go pick it up.

I've had fedex just leave stuff on the porch, even if is was supposed to signed for (they signed it themselfs.) My iBook sat on my porch for two days before anyone was home. So there's a good possability thats its sitting there already.

No, the tracking says "delivery attempt, customer not available or business closed". So they still have it.
