Started in late 1999 with 8.6. Since then, I have owned 3 iMacs, 2 powerbooks, and 2 iBooks/MacBooks. Soon to be added, intel powermac, and 1 more macbook.

I got my first mac in 2001- a brand spankin' new iMac G4. That's when I became a home user. Before that, it was just in the graphics lab at school.

Does my Apple ][e count? If not, then System 6 in 1990.

Since 2001 and the G4 iMac, but I can't remember whether this was 10.1 or 10.2.

Had my first taste of Apple... it would be about twelve years ago now, I think. System 7 back in those days.

OS 8.5 on my old iMac g3. And for about 6 years before that at a Mac-only school, but I don't remember what system it was before then. I do, however, remember taking a hypercard class in like second grade.

I got my first Mac in 2003 I'll be honest and say that before Mac OS X I thought the Mac OS was a complete joke. My experience with Macs before OS X had always been on very slow, and unstable machines. If OS X wasn't a UNIX like OS I doubt I would be using it now.

Had an SE runing System 7 a long time ago, but did dip into a terrible world of DOS and Windows 3.11 for a couple of frustrating years (6!), before returning to wonderful Mac OS 9 in 2000.
