    I've heard something about this...

correct me if I'm wrong, but published in a medical journal, people whose ring finger and index are the same length are more likely to be gay...

    mine are different...

almost exactly the same for me.

edit: doing a little polling to see how much/little testosterone we were exposed to in utero?

edit 2: would have been helpful to have a "same" option in the mix of your poll. <shrugs>

Well this is random, but mine are nearly the same size. my index is like 1/4" longer.
PS I am straight as far as I know.

Don't know about the 'gay' thing, sounds like an urban legend. I ask because I'm told it's to do with hormone levels.

Anyway, I posted it as a poll so the answers could be anonymous. So please vote.

That's an urban legend too. There's been studies on it but no definite answer.

On my left hand, my ring finger is longer than my pinkie. On my right hand, it's the opposite.

My left hand has slightly longer fingers than my right hand. (it's from the years of violin)
You should see my friend's hand.. she's played the cello for ~13 years, and her left hand is about 1/2 cm longer! It's a little creepy.. :p

My ring finger is longer than my pointer. Does that mean more testosterone? Because I'm kind of a tomboy. ..And I am a lesbian.

Same here. We're ring finger twins. :D

the poll misses an "Equal length" option and fails to specify which hand to use.

My ring finger is over 1/2" longer than my index finger. It's almost as long as my middle finger. (less than 1/4" shorter)

Which one? Daria or Bubble Tea?

This one is just kind of temporary anyway. It's just my crabby attempt at humour. ;)

Yay! :) I always wanted a twin of some kind. Think of the Parent Trappy mischief one could cause with ring fingers the same size! :D

I hope no one takes these tests seriously, like I said before, there's been nothing definate on the studies of such, its mostly urban legend that it has something to do with gender or sexual orientation or even hormonal levels.

I'm a chick and my ring finger's shorter. I'm also bi, femme and not to mention trans. So I guess I ****ed that one up good. :)
