How much does the 9.7 Smart Keyboard weigh?

Anyone know what the weight of the iPad Pro 9.7 smart keyboard is? I didn't see it on the Apple website.

I think for marketing reasons, Apple tries to avoid giving this information away because it's likely significant as a % of the iPad. I contacted customer service and they said they don't know either. Guess someone just needs to buy one and weigh it themselves.

Ok, just got mine - it is 8.1oz. And in case you were wondering, the Smart cover is 3.8oz and the Silicone case for the back is 3.0oz

Wow - so the smart cover + silicone case basically doubles the weight of the IPP 9.7.

I'm not sure whether to be amazed that the iPad is so light or that the case/keyboard is so heavy.

I have been wondering about the same. So, the keyboard adds 50% to the weight of the iPad. Not too bad. Total weight 670g, also quite manageable, and less than the 12.9" by itself.
