I have a Late 2012 27-inch iMac
2.9 Ghz Core i5
1TB HDD
24GB RAM (upgraded)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660m (512mb VRAM)
Apple Care until end of Feb 2017.
Excellent condition
Mac2Sell lists the value at $1060, so maybe $1250 after applecare and extra ram? Is that in the ballpark?

Also, I just purchased a 13-inch rMBP that'll be delivered in a couple of days. I'm excited about the portability but am concerned I'll miss my iMac for movie-watching and larger screen for (rare) Excel/work stuff?
Thoughts?

Well the fantastic screen will make you not worry too much about the size but if you have a TV just connect it to that for watching films.

If you ebayed it, my guess would be $1000-1100.
Selling locally on CL will depend in the area you are in. If you live in a hipster central, you may get a bit more than eBay.
