Need to install x64 edition of FF.
(Running Vista Ultimate x64 SP1)
Same, I don't see where this thread can go... OMG Safari uses more than Firefox, shock of the century eh...
Firefox always seemed like a bigger memory hog to me than Safari, but maybe that's because I usually have a few dozen tabs in Firefox open compared to one or two in Safari.
Firefox is at 20% CPU, 370 MB (real), 1.25 GB (virtual).
MB Air Rev B, Safari running Pandora radio and 6 open tabs (one being forum spy).
When you only have 512 MB of RAM to go around, Firefox learns to deal with less.
*cough* post ...
Wow.. this seems alot
Safari definitely tends to use more memory than either FFox or Opera.
Browser - Safari
