2011 MBA 13'', 256 GB model.

I have 150.9 GB free memory.

50 GB is taken up by my anime collection.

30 GB is taken up by my music collection.

1 GB is taken up by my pictures (wallpapers) collection.

The rest are apps or operating system.

How much space do you have left?

About 30GB of my 256GB 13" Air.

I use it as my main computer with a 2TB 3.5" external back up drive.

Mainly due to my serious porn collection/addiction [hope I'm allowed to say that without being censored or receiving a formal warning from moderators as I usually do], yes I am in therapy over it [seriously]...

~202 out of ~250GB...

I only keep my books (Uni, Work etc)...

Everything else is stored in a series of external drives which are connected to my iMac which is running Serve To Me...

75.5GB of 120GB

I've been keeping my Air clear of anything that it doesn't 'need' ever since getting an SSD for it, and I've been amazed at the amount of stuff that I don't really feel the need to cart around with me on it any more. Admittedly, I do have a 160GB USB HDD that I bring with me, but that mostly just has development documentation on it. Plus some Doctor Who for when I don't feel like being productive any more ;)

~120GB free of 256GB. All media on an SDXC card. All that space is taken up by applications, of which maybe 50% I use regularly.

do you leave your SDXC card in all the time? if so any major hit in battery? i just ordered a 64gb one for like $36 so i was gonna move my iphoto and itunes over to it.

Interesting thread, 149 GB free of 256GB. This includes a Win7 VM (Parallels) with office 2010, Project 2010, Visio 2010, and VS 2010. Still need to load PS CS5 and LightRoom. I haven't had much time for photography lately so I'm in no hurry. I did pare down my Dropbox folder a bit from what I have on my MacPro. The limited storage on the MBA has got its benefits, its kept me from installing a bunch of stuff that I can see now I never really use. I'm so impressed with the MBA that I'm thinking of getting rid of my MacPro and using the MBA as my main computer. The only thing holding me back at the moment is the lack of external storage options using TB ( or at least USB3/FW800/eSATA via TB).

In therapy over the porn addiction or the moderator abuse? :) I've always found porn to be much more fulfilling than therapy, not to mention I just feel better knowing my money is going towards some young ladies college education.

There is the LaCie drive that just became available. At $400 for 1TB or $500 for 2TB (plus the $49 cable) it isn't cheap, but it's a RAID0 setup so it offers close to SSD speeds (190MB/s).

i would highly recommend "save as" and saving directly to memory stick

that way if pesky Brother/sister/mom/dad/neighbour/stalker/girlfriend wants to "quickly look something up" when over, there's no concerns about "oh oh, what if he/she/it stumbles into my downloads folder!"

you are my hero, i have never thought of it as a way of helping others. Back to topic, well i have a MBP w/only 250GB space (7200RPM), i've only used up 32GB. I keep it on a diet, well organized, and only keep things I need now. Everything else goes to the backup.
