How to add a frame counter to a video in Final Cut?

    is this posssible? I want to add a frame counter into a video and have it remain there even after exporting it.

    frame counter?

    what do you mean exactly with frame counter?
    if its what I think you mean by 'time-code display'
    then there is a built in filter (amongst the rest of the video filters, i think under the 'video' section.)

    hi there, yes, something simlar to a time code but it would just be frame numbers counting up to however many frames are in the entire video. 300 frames, a 1000 frames. whatever it may be. it would be very helpfull in animation.
