If your monitor is DVI-D capable, you will be fine. What model is your monitor?

So it's not working on yours? I just scanned Apple's forums, and didn't see anything about DVI problems in the first couple of pages.

Check out the product reviews. I guess the MB (or is it the adapter) only supports DVI-D monitors instead of the more common DVI-I

I use the DVI output with my Dell 2005FPW and my new MB.

I did notice that the DVI plug on the mini-DVI adapter only has a horizontal metal tab and will not accept the + shaped tabs one of my cables had. Perhaps that's something to do with the DVI-I and DVD-D, I dunno. I had figured it was something to do with single-link and dual-link, but don't quote me on that. ;)

However, I can say without question that the MB with mini-DVI adapter works perfectly with the Dell 2005FPW.
