How to convert an iMacDV into an ATX case.

    That's the sort of project that only one who is very brave, very skilled or tweaked out on meth would undertake...

    Still, I have to applaud their ingenuity, and the simple fact they made it work.

    He hot his mac to work again didn't he?

    i'd rather have a Frankenstein mac then a "beautiful" PC

    that's pretty darn cool. i certainly wouldn't have the patience to try to figure something like that out. good job :D

    I am doing this actually

    rather, just doing the display part. as panther sorta killed my logic board, (firmware update neede, restart, boom, no display).

    It's pretty freaking annoying having to splice lots and lots of tiny little cables just for the display. I'm using a ribbon cable from a floppy drive, cept i cut off extra the extra pins (the display only needs 20 of them).

    so far its turning out to be an "adventure" this is the deepest i have been in a mac in a while, and it's turning out to be fun, hopefully itll actually work...
