    Hello --

I use RoadRunner for my DELL desktop (New York) and I am not able to connect to my MAC laptop for some reason since I do not have a wireless router yet to be set up. However, I'd like to install Deskjet 6500 printer to my MAC laptop, so I tried to do that with the USB cord and it did not allow me to add from Printer Setup Utility because the driver is not installed. I don't have the CDs or to install the driver, so what do I do?

Put in the model of the printer, download the drivers, install, done.

For the record, Mac is an abreviation of Macintosh, not an acronym like PC, so there's no need to all-cap it.

    Hope this helps!

EDIT: Sorry, is that a Dell printer? In that case, sorry, my link above is no use. Try the same thing at the proper site.

My printer is HP. How can I go on-line from my laptop if my Airport card can't read the RoadRunner internet I have already for my DELL desktop computer.

That wasn't really clear in your first post.

So, download the OS X driver onto the PC, and then burn it onto a CD or put it on a USB drive or something to that effect and then sneaker net it to the Mac.

Or get a router and then your Mac will work fine, as long as the router is set up to mimic the MAC address of your PC, which undoubtedly is why the PC can get online and the Mac cannot (RoadRunner typically limits users to a single MAC address for net connection).
