how to install linux with bootcamp for desktop effect

    I'm looking to install linux fedora or ubuntu on my macbook c2d 2.0ghz...is it possible with bootcamp 1.1.2 beta because it only allows to install xp sp2 no??? whenever I open bootcamp, it only allows me to create xp....did anyone successfully install linux on macbook by bootcamp......I was able by parallels but it doesn't allow the use of the desktop effect so I think bootcamp will allow it...

    All Boot Camp is is a boot loader. You can install Linux using Boot Camp, but I wouldn't recommend it as Linux doesn't need the BIOS emulation layer. If I were you, I'd use rEFIt.
