How to let user define icon image

    Hey, I was wondering whether it is possible to link the image displayed as an icon for the app to a user defined image. Thanks for your help:)

    Yes just add a 57x57 pixels png-file to your project and make sure the name matches the Icon file parameter in the Info.plist.

    Thanks for your help but I'm not sure I explained it very well- I want to include in my app I am making the ability to choose from a selection of icon images. If you knew that and I'm just being stupid I'm sorry.

    Should be doable. When the user has chosen their new icon, just change the value for the "Icon file" in the Info.plist to reference the new image.

    Won't changing the info.plist at runtime break the code signing?

    That’s what I thought, although I can’t say that I’ve ever tried it. However, this might be a workaround.
