How to make a full image

Hi All,

I just finished reinstalling my iMac, it took a while because I have a lot of software and sample libraries installed on my local drive.

I would like to make a image of the entire disk to an external HDD so I can restore a clean image when something happens.
What software can I use for this?

I prefer CCC, but SuperDuper works as well.
