I want to use the SelfControl App (limits the websites you are allowed to visit for a set amount of time) but while researching it I stumbled across a way to 'trick' the app to thinking the time had expired by changing the system time. Very disappointed when I realized it was possible to trick the app. (Apologies to anyone using SelfControl that did not know this trick!)

Is there a way to make it impossible for me to change the time? Can you lock the Date & Time with a different password than the master password? I obviously need to know the master password for other things but I would solve this problem if I could get someone else to lock Date & Time with a password unknown to me.

Or does anyone know of a Terminal code to make the app not run off of the system clock?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Just don't give admin rights to the user you want to limit and they can't change the clock.
