I decided to return my 27" iMac (I am within my 14 day window)

My question is, do you recommend I just delete all my data , rebuild ?

DO they need to logon to it (if I factory reset it )?

Thanks everyone!

Why you have decided to return the iMac?

You can return it back as it is. Of course for your safety you can remove your profile (and data).

Thanks everyone!

I once had to return a macbook. Booted into recovery mode and erased the SSD encrypted with file vault before going to the store. The return was quick and smooth. They may boot it up to examine its condition.
