I am a 100% Microsoft Entourage user; however, until Microsoft exposes the Entourage database to Spotlight and other OS X services, I need to sync Entourage with Apple's Address Book. How can I schedule this application to run? Via iCal, or is there a different feature?

You mean, you want a certain application to run at a certain time? If that's it, you want to use the UNIX command "crontab". To learn how to, write "man crontab" in the terminal and you'll get the command's manual.
